Acoustic Detector runs on any iPhone with iOS 17 or later. The LiDAR room scan needs an iPhone Pro with a LiDAR sensor (iPhone 12 Pro and later); on other iPhones, you enter the room's dimensions by hand.

Before you download
Is my device compatible?
If your iPhone runs iOS 17 or later, it is compatible. LiDAR is not required: it only adds the automatic room scan.
How much does it cost?
The app is free. The optional one-time "Acoustic Detector Complete" purchase (CA$4.99) unlocks Treatment and Calculators, with no subscription.
Does it work offline?
Yes. Measurements and calculations happen on the device, with no account or server. Only the purchase and restore go through the App Store.
Are the measurements accurate?
The iPhone's microphone gives an estimate, not a certified measurement. Optional manual calibration lets you sharpen the result.
Which languages?
English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese (Brazil), Italian and Japanese, selectable from the main menu.
